Shannon Bowring

Shannon Bowring is a writer and editor based out of mid-coast Maine. Her stories and essays have appeared in numerous journals, including Raleigh Review, Slush Pile Magazine, Archipelago, Waterwheel Review, The Seventh Wave, and JMWW. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart and a Best of the Net and was selected for Best Small Fictions 2021. Shannon earned her MFA from Stonecoast, where she served as Editor-in-Chief for the Stonecoast Review. When she’s not writing, Shannon works as a cataloger for her local library.
